Office Haiku For You

I tend to take myself too seriously as a writer, so today, we're just gonna have fun with it...

The phone does not stop
My boss hides out from the world
Is it time to leave?

I'd like my paycheck
They never pay us timely
Lee, go to the bank.

Grass is cut outside
Probably by illegals
We could help them out.
(Editor's Note: I work at a law office and one of the many things we do includes immigration law, hence the irony of this situation. Oh, and I don't have anything against the hard working illegals, just the criminal ones) 

So hungry today
Not a dollar in my purse
Will they take pennies?

Staff meeting starts soon
Wish it was Happy Hour
Booze makes things funner.
(I know, funner isn't a word, but I don't really care)
